The Program Gender Representative (Raffaella di Iorio) will have special responsibility for continuously monitoring the gender aspects of the project, in terms of recruitment, participation and research. The ESRs will be recruited under gender-neutral recruitment processes, as is already required for all of the partners. Recruitment adverts will emphasise the desirability of attracting female researchers in order to try to achieve a balanced gender split, therefore women and disabled persons with equal qualifications will be given preference in the recruiting process. Appointment panels will have representation of both genders.
