Background

Elisabetta Marinelli works as a policy analyst under the trade name “Policy-Research Interface” (for more information: www.pr-i.eu). Prior to setting-up PR-i, she worked for nine years at the European Commission Joint Research Centre, supporting regions and member states in the implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies.

An economist by training, Elisabetta holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, an MSc from the University of Sussex and a degree from La Sapienza, University of Rome. Specialised in regional development and research, higher education and innovation policy her experience spans from the academic to the public and private sectors.
